Well I am back from Tucson and I must say it was worth the trip. I also must say though, that 2 days it not long enough at all. Next year I am thinking 4 days for sure! There is so much there. 30 hotels all filed with items that have to do with jewelry in one way or another. Tucson is gorgeous as well, the desert and the mountains, and the culture. To follow are some of my photos from the trip enjoy!

These stones were as tall as I was and well I am 5′ 11″.

Part of my goodies I brought back. Skulls and silks and cermaics oh my!

African trade beads, oh I love trade beads!

Lonely tree on the way to Tucson!

Today I took a PMC Ring class from a good friend Laurie Riekman. I meet Laurie when I started doing art shows. She started doing them at the same time. Her website is www.froginthemoon.com . PMC is such a fascinating material and I hope to do and put more into my designs soon.

This is Morris, he is my one year old Pug. The Story of Morris is he came from a Shelter in Iowa. My bestfriend ended up adopting his Mom. Well come to find out, Morris’s Mom is also his sister and maybe his aunt, if you get what I mean. He is a bundle of joy though. Loves to eat and sleep, exercise is not his thing. He is a true American Pug.
In other news Lefthand Originals welcomes a New Year, as usual lots of big plans this year galleries, shows in Wisconsin and maybe even a home show. Well I have jewelry packages to pack so talk to you all later.
