Well today I went and applied for my art teaching license. I must say I feel like I have done a lot in the past 15 months to get to this point. To also know my schooling career is over at least for a while, is nice too. I can now focus on jewelry, art, jewelry, and more art!
Today I recieved 5000 new business cards, this should keep me stocked up for a while. Plus they also have super cute backs with my new signature bird, which seems to be appearing on everything.

Today we also grilled for dinner, nothing says summer to me like the smell of a charcol grill, I just love the smell. This gorgeous little thing, is the first veggie out of my garden. He is Mr. Summer Squash, I sliced him up along with Mrs. Vadallia onion and butter, salt, and pepper. Put in tin foil and on the grill. Oh it was so tasty!

This is Pedro, he is part of the dynamic duo of Pedro and Lola.
Pedro and Lola are the brand new characters in my children’s book. Pedro and Lola are twins who travel the world together on their pirate ship. This is as far as the story has developed.
Pedro is for sale in my etsy shop right now, he is 15.00 per print. Printed on archival matte paper, and wonderful epson pigmented inks. Will last long after you are dead.

Well lets just say, life has been really busy around here and cleaning got pushed onto the back burner.
Needless to say my desk area was a disaster, not to mention horribly out dated.
Well this 4th of July while people were setting of fire works and grilling, (I still did grill),
My special someone and I went to ikea had a 1.99 ikea breakfast, and got me a desk.
So here is the before, I know horrible right.
and 24 hours later, here is the after.
AMAZING!!!!
Tomorrow, I hope to post my new painting for my children’s book I am working on.
Happy Saturday!
